玄锋赛车队新加盟车手宝登期待韩国站夺取双冠
BlackArts Racing newly-signed driver Josh Burdon made his debut appearance in 2016 Asian Formula Renault. His astonishing performance during the race weekend had brought him pole in practice, qualify and champion in the first race. Josh was doing so well in the beginning round but just having some bad luck during the second race where he overshoot in the first lap. In concluded, the team will continue to support Josh in the upcoming races for the season.
“It was a bitter sweet weekend for me.” said Josh. “First round of the championship is always hard as you learn where you stand. It was a good event, and it was the first time most of the BlackArts Racing crew have worked together so to come straight out and be fastest in practice, set both pole position times in qualifying & win race 1 is a very positive sign that things are moving in the right direction.”
Josh felt unfortunate for the second race, “very disappointed in my race 2, that wet circuit I was leading into turn 11 and made a rookie mistake which ended me in the gravel trap. I simply made a wrong judgement and underestimated the new set of wet tires and how long they take to scrub in and work properly. This definitely won't be happening again. I'm looking forward to Korea race and building on our strong pace and my aim is to continue setting the benchmark higher and higher, especially we are hungry to win this championship. Thanks again to BlackArts Racing for trusting me with the job.”
