Who may attend

Courses are available to anyone. No experience is required.

Certain height (max. 6'-4") and weight (max. 225lbs) restrictions may apply however the race cars can be adjusted to fit most of the drivers. There is no minimum age however students accepted by the BAR Academy under 18 must have parental consent.
Safety

Safety at BlackArts Racing is paramount. All our machinery is maintained to the highest standards and the cars are built around a certfied full roll cage and have race spec fuel and electrics cutoff switches as well as fire extinguishers. Course attendees are required to wear the appropriate safety equipment at all time (which will be provided by BAR) and we enforce a policy of zero tolerance in terms of dangerous track behaviour.
Damages

There is a damages deposit required prior to the commencement of any course or car hire. Attendees are held responsible for damages that may be incurred to a race car
Accommodations

If you want to stay in Zhuhai prior/during/after any course we can recommend the Novotel, or Marriot which offers good accommodation at a reasonable price. Our staff can help book at your request.
Track Time and Class Size

To ensure students receive instruction tailored to their own ability, the BlackArts Racing School keeps class sizes small, and because there is no car sharing track time is maximized.
Whats is included

Our trackday courses include everything race equipment and refreshments - you just need to turn up. Meal are at a very reasonable price as well.

Cancellation
- Cancellation within 7 days prior to testing date: 15% penalty;
- Cancellation within 3 days prior to testing date: 50% penalty;
- Rescheduling can be done within one week of payment of testing fee, with email and only be done with our confirmation, with no penalty [limit one time rescheduling]
- Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of your deposit.
What to bring

Upon your arrival at the school we will outfit you with the use of a racing helmet, racing suit, racing gloves and for the car drivers a nomex headsock. We recommend you dress casually, wearing form fitting shoes or similar light footwear. Best results are flat bottom soled shoes. A tee shirt and short pants are all you need underneath the racing suit. If you have your own racing equipment you are more than welcome to use it providing it meets current safety standards.
Pictures and Video

Our staff will be on site taking pictures during your school on request, and we can also offer onboard video footage offers a unique souvenir package available to students. Arrangements for this will be at the track. (you are welcome to use your own camera).
Guests

If you have a traveling companion he or she is most welcome to observe the School in session or enjoy the facilities at the BAR clubhouse
Directions to the race track

BlackArts Racing is based at the International Circuit in Zhuhai, China. Getting here is easy because it is only a ferry trip from the Hong Kong Island or Tsim Sha Tsui Terminals and course attendees will find a car waiting to pick them up. For those not attending courses there is a taxi rank at the Zhuhai ferry terminal where it is only a 30-40 minutes taxi ride to the circuit. Alternatively, you can also choose to go via Macau and take a taxi once you've crossed the border.
