Beckhäuser joins BlackArts Racing for 2019 Asia Formula Renault Series

After a successful winter test with BlackArts Racing team at Zhuhai International Circuit this week, 19 year old Tom Beckhäuser of the Czech Republic will join BAR for the 2019 Asia Formula Renault Championship.
Beckhäuser hails from ADAC F4 and UAE F4 [www.tombeckhauser.com] and is the newest addition to four time AFR championship-winning team BlackArts Racing.
The 19 year old came to Zhuhai this week to test the 2013 spec ‘A Class’ Formula Renault 2.0 and quickly adapted to the car and circuit, excelling in all weather conditions.
The 2019 AFR season will kick off in March at Zhuhai International Circuit with the immensely popular Pan Delta Race Festival, continuing on to the new Tianjin International Circuit, Ningbo International Speedway, Shanghai F1 Circuit, Bangsean Street Circuit [Thailand] and concluding at the Sepang F1 Circuit in September.
BlackArts Racing’s Team Principal Bill O’Brien: “Tom was very impressive in testing this week, showing real talent here in all types of conditions, adapting quickly to the Formula Renault from the F4 car he’s been racing in Europe.
