British F4 Champion Jamie Caroline joins BlackArts Racing powered by Oloi for Asian F3 Winter Series finale at Sepang

British Racing Drivers’ Club SuperStars Program Driver and 2017 British F4 Champion Jamie Caroline will join BlackArts Racing powered by Oloi for the final round of the Asian F3 Winter Series, February 22-24th at Sepang International Circuit.

Next weekend, Caroline will pilot the BlackArts Racing powered by Oloi F3 car in the final event of the three round/9 race Asian F3 Winter Series, which visited Buriram International Circuit in Thailand on January 11th-12th and Sepang International Circuit on January 19th-20th. The championship is run as a regional F3 FIA series and designed as a stepping-stone to International F3, which will become a Formula One support series in 2019.

The talented 20-year-old British driver began karting on his 8th birthday and rapidly distinguished himself in karting championships across Europe. Caroline, guided by EDGE Sporting Management, then went on to win the Ginetta Junior Championship at just 16 years old, followed by the British F4 Championship at age 18.

In 2017 while on his way to the British F4 title, Caroline became the most successful driver in championship history with a record ten wins, while becoming the first driver to take all three race wins over a race weekend. Since then, he has competed in US F2000 and won races in BRDC British F3.

“With the addition of Jamie in the last round of the Asian Winter Series, BAR is preparing for a major push in the regular 2019 season of Asian F3. We will have a strong lineup,” said Bill O’Brien, Team Principal.

Caroline said: “I am excited to be joining BAR for my first Asian F3 event, especially at one of the best circuits in Asia. I know the team has had a lot of success and I am hoping to add to that next weekend.”

Jamie will pilot the BlackArts Racing powered by Oloi F3 car at Sepang. Oloi, Inc. was recently announced as the primary team sponsor for BlackArts Racing in 2019. Both the Asian F3 and Asia Formula Renault Championships will feature BlackArts Racing powered by Oloi race cars in the Asian and China-based championships. Oloi is a San Francisco-based motorsports-inspired line of apparel which focuses on blending performance with time-proven classics in its product line.
