QNET Signs Sponsorship Deal With Singaporean Racer Pavan Ravishankar

QNET has scored yet another high profile sports sponsorship victory! We are ecstatic to announce our new sponsorship deal with young Singaporean race driver Pavan Ravishankar. The sponsorship is yet another feather in QNET’s cap, adding to our current sports sponsorship portfolio that is topped by our partnership with English Premier League giants Manchester City Football Club.

Echoing QNET’s emphasis on achieving dreams through commitment, focus, hard work and dedication, this sponsorship with Pavan is the latest endorsement of a young dedicated talent that is bent on seeing his dreams become a reality.

Pavan started his career in motorsport five years ago and now at 18, this teenager has joined the Asian Formula Renault Series, a 12-round single-seater car race organised in China, South Korea, and Thailand. The overall champion of the race will receive a full scholarship to compete in the European version of the series.

This is indeed a great opportunity that inspires and motivates me knowing that such a well-established company with involvement in motorsports is supporting me," said Pavan, who grew up idolising Formula 1 star Lewis Hamilton, religiously following the fortunes of the Englishman. Pavan is now eyeing the highly renowned FIA F3 Championship with QNET’s support.

Pavan started racing go-karts in competitions held both locally and internationally since the age of 11. In one of the races held last year, Pavan beat 11 other drivers in the senior category to claim the first round of the X30 Challenge Singapore 2016, the first internationally-sanctioned go-kart race held at the KF1 Karting Circuit in Kranji. Currently, Pavan has a number of podium finishes in the Asian Formula Renault Series and has finished an impressive fourth in the championship in his debut year.
