BlackArts Racing Josh Burdon continued to lead in AFR Series 2nd round
AFR Series 2nd round practice had been done on 13th May morning. BlackArts Racing Josh
Burdon keep leading the group and clocked his personal and overall fastest lap time of 2:09.996,
which is 1.968s faster than Najiy Ayyad from S&D Motorsports. His teammate Maxx Ebenal clocked
2:12.009, which made himself 3rd fastest. Class B Hua Miao from Asia Racing Team clocked
2:15.124 in the 9th lap, closing up with the Class A group, while his teammate Jasper Thong
was just 0.118s slower. The lap time will be even close during qualifying.
Josh expressed that, “Taking the lesson from the last race in Zhuhai, other than keeping the
lap time, maintaining the mental fitness and stay calm are also important. Although I did well
in the first practice, there are still one more practice and qualifying before the race, which the
drivers might pace up real quick. So I will try my best to seek for faster lap time and took for
champion for the team.”
2nd round practice will be starting on 14th May at 9:10am.
