AFR Korea Unofficial Practice Josh Burdon from BlackArts Racing clocked the fastest lap
Asian Formula Renault Series 2nd race will be starting on 13th May in Korea International Circuit, and by 12th May drivers had done the unofficial practice. Since many drivers were the first time driving in this circuit, spinning were expected for the first session. Luckily no accident had occurred. Last round champion Josh Burdon clocked his personal and overall fastest during 2nd session. S&D Motorsports Najiy Ayyad was just 0.217s slower than Josh while other drivers were not getting close in the session.
Until the 3rd session of unofficial practice, drivers started to get used to the circuit and the difference were closing in especially Maxx Ebenal from S&D Motorsports had made a 10 seconds difference with his personal best time, while Josh made another personal and overall fastest lap of 2:10.560, almost a second faster than his teammate Neric Wei standing at the second place. B class drivers Hua Miao and Jasper Thong from Asia Racing Team and two Korean drivers were battling up the whole day with less than 1.5s difference, proving the high standard of the AFR drivers.
Official practice will be starting on 13th May at 11:30am.
